My favorite author, in the flesh last night at an event sponsored by Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, VT. One of the best independent bookstores in New England. The event was sold out and we were lucky to have good seats and a copy of his new book "Under the Dome" signed by him. What a man..

Great shot! Possible because of the small town intimacy of New England (in LA or Chicago this would have been a picture of the jumbotron). Here you can stand in line and chat with Martha Stewart or listen to Noel "Paul" Stookey sing in your church (Noel wrote the "The Wedding Song", There is Love"). Coincidentally, I bought Stephen King's book "Under the Dome" yesterday.
