Description

1930's cast iron cartouche from the West Side Highway served as a location sign for Pier 98 West and 58th street in Manhattan and was originally mounted on a guardrail of the highway...methinks today it would have been stolen long ago! A gorgeous example of the Art Deco period. Located in the New York state museum in Albany.
